'Nick Sanders’ Motorcycle Cinema

Nick Sanders Logo

Nick Sanders proved a real hit at the Show with the launch of his new 'Motorcycle Cinema'. Nick presented a world's 'first' - the only known 'Motorcycle Cinema' in existence.

"It's purely experimental," said Nick, "but I've had this idea for years and I want it to be amazing".

Transported by his 7.5 ton MAN desert truck, which he used as the back-up vehicle for his group expeditions to Timbuktu, he also had a 24ft stage where live performed throughout the show. The cinema itself comprised a small 15ft x 30ft tent with seating for 30 to 40 people and a short performance of around seven minutes.

Artists Impression of Cinema

Included in a performance entitled, 'In the Land of Men' visitors witnessed one of the last interviews with Mr Robert Dunlop at the Skerries, James Toseland, the amazing aviation fuelled 'rocket bike' ridden by Frenchman Eric Teboul and more.

Nick added theatrical sound effects for the audience's delectation and the show was seen as a performance in the best showman sense possible. "We had fantastic sounds and great effects, you'd have thought you were at the top of the Andes yourself," he said, "and what with pretty usherettes serving free samples of popcorn and candyfloss we were inundated with visitors" Nick Sanders
